Wedding pictures

Whilst we don't have the official photo's or the official wedding album yet; we have received loads of snapshots from family & friends.

These photo's show so many angles of that fantastic day, and besides reminding they also show us aspects of all the fantastic things we were too busy to notice.

Almost one night in Paris

When we just got together I took eve on a romantic weekend to Paris for her birthday. It was a great trip that we both have fond memories of.

So as recently-weds we had a reprise weekend planned this year!
That and eve needed a new dress for an upcoming wedding.

It all started out great!

Photo Gallery online!

Well, this one was a bit of a learning curve, a good one though

I started out with Learn by the Drop's video tutorial: Create An Image Gallery With CCK, Views And ImageCache.
And got that to work!

It provided a nice first insight into views and the cck. I ended up installing a whole host of modules. I was wondering how to introduce albums and such and then...
I discovered the Simple Gallery module on drupal.org.

Our blog is online!

When taking down our wedding site we decided it was appropriate to continue it as our own website!

Naturally I couldn't use anything but Drupal for that.
It is amazing how far this CMS has come since it's inception in my college days. Dries and the community sure have made it into something outstanding!

Things to do now:
- Decide on the scope of this site
- Catch-up on all the latest Drupal developments
- Select a module for posting pictures done
- Build a custom design (-> Eve)
