When we just got together I took eve on a romantic weekend to Paris for her birthday. It was a great trip that we both have fond memories of.

So as recently-weds we had a reprise weekend planned this year!
That and eve needed a new dress for an upcoming wedding.

It all started out great!

We got to Paris nice and early for breakfast close to the Seine, walked through the Louvre along the Seine to the Eiffel tower.

Then we were off to the Gallerie's Hausmann and Lafayette to see what remained of the sales. Eve picked up a gorgeous cocktail dress and accessories.
Me? Well nothing really, the French don't stock much for 2m men...

By this time we were both not feeling great, I was off worst, nauseous, headache and tired. Over dinner eve just decided to drive back, I was feeling terrible, we were both tired, the only thing we both wanted was our own beds. So we packed the car and eve drove back with me asleep till Antwerp where I took over and got us back to Amsterdam.

So all in all a great day that ended in mineur.
One last tip: don't ever eat anything at Lafayette's 7th floor terrace, no matter how fantastic the view is. Just have an overpriced beer!
