And yes, more Sebas!
He is really having a blast here. He can play outside on the terrace (in his confined play area), climb stairs (not very confined) or have mom and dad chase him around the terrace or the woods (definitely not confined!).
Throw in some beach and this little dude doesn't give a peep when it's bedtime. After his bottle and a bit more chasing and 'wrestling dad' on the big bed, he's KO till 7-8 in the morning!

We've been on our summer vacation in France for nearly 2 weeks now. And it was about time to put the first batch of pictures online! A first small set of beach pictures featuring Sebas is now online.

That pretty much sums up a great day here in New England!
The weather has been fantastic the last few days, easily 27+.
Which meant that today we had a super sunny day at the beach. Followed by ice-cream and relaxing in the grass at Russels Orchards (pictures here) ; and closing off the day with lobsters at a "lobster-shack": Woodmans.
The lobster-shack, while completely new to me, is a normal MA sight: a place where you stand in a huge line to select your freshly cooked lobster at a reasonable price!

We're here!
After a relaxed flight (Sebas was angelic, charming all the stewardesses...), we've arrived in Winchester MA! With a fantastic warm welcome by Dries, Karlijn and the boys!
This weekend we've been out hiking in the area beautiful forests!

Sebas celebrated his first birthday in style this weekend!
We had great weather, great food, great company and above all a fantastic cake!
Eve designed it and De taart van m'n Tante 'build' it! Almost too good to eat... almost...

We had an excellent Easter this year, the weather was great, the wine was good, Luc ran a professional BBQ and all the Europe based D'Halleweyns were there!

Sebas went for his first bike ride today on eve's new bike!
We're celebrating our 2nd anniversary this monday, and with the great weekend weather I decided to make it an early present :-)
Besides, in Holland you need a decent bike!

It's become a yearly tradition to celebrate Anna's birthday (eve's mother) with the whole D'Halleweyn family* somewhere in the Benelux.
This year the location was near Holland's famous amusement park "de Efteling".
Now, I hadn't been to de Efteling since I was 10 years old, so I was unsure of what to expect. I had an image of a older and less well maintained park in my memory.
Well... it shattered that memory in a big way!
It was a fun, crisp, clean and meticulously maintained park which can easily stand up to any of the Disney parks. one
They have something for all ages and it isn't too large, so you can walk quickly from area to the next.
Another pleasant surprise were the bungalows, which were fully inline with the parks theme and everything was of a high quality and very well maintained.
We had a great weekend!

* This year the US branch was unable to make it, which they are more than rectifying by an extended Xmas visit.

Eve took Sebas to the doctor today, for his 3rd regular check-up.
They measured and weighed him: 69cm and 7.2kg (~ 27.2" and 15.9 pounds).
I honestly can't call him a little baby anymore...
*: Time flies and Sebas grows!

Just last week we had a tremendous breakthrough, Sebas drank his first bottle entiely filled with formula milk!!
We had been mixing breast milk and formula milk for a few days to get Sebas habituated to formula (and to make sure he had enough! Sebas likes his milk!).
This marked the start of freeing eve from the non-stop breast-feeding chain. She's been fantastic but after 4.5 months, it's enough!
